Sorgin Gallery was founded in 2024 in San Sebastián by Brazilian art and design dealer Mírian Badaró, following more than fifteen years of professional activity between the Americas and Europe.
Located in a property of historic origin dating back over 200 years, reflecting the Basque vernacular architectural tradition and overlooking the Cantabrian Sea, the gallery presents a carefully curated selection of Brazilian modern furniture alongside contemporary design-art practices. Its program emphasizes material intelligence, organic processes, and meticulous craftsmanship, establishing a dialogue between modernist legacies and contemporary experimentation.
Rooted in its architectural and geographical context, Sorgin Gallery develops projects that privilege permanence, material presence, and silence, fostering a measured and attentive experience of space, and positioning the gallery as a platform for thoughtful encounters between design, art, and architecture.
